What just happened in South Carolina? The story of 8 arrests

At this rate, we will reach our goal. But we’ve gotta get scrappy in our fund-raising! E-mail and Facebook blasts are awesome, and I encourage everybody on here to do one. But what helps even more is a personal appeal to someone whom you know cares about this issue, and whom you know can spare $20 to make it happen. If they can’t spare that much, of course, we’ll take whatever we can get; because their contribution along with their own fund-raising help goes a long way.

I appreciate everybody believing in this. We CAN do it. Seven supporters after the first weekday of this campaigns existence? That should speak for itself. But let’s just stay at it. We’ve got seven; so if each of us can hook just one person today (Tuesday); that’s solid momentum.

One day at a time here. Just think: “Who can I get for sure get to donate to this cause today?”

Last day to push it to the limit for this audio documentary! As I write this, we’re 79 percent there – that’s good – but NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

I say we devise a STATUE OF LIBERTY PLAY, wherein we USE CAPITALIZED LETTERS IN MESSAGES TO OUR FRIENDS TO CONVEY THE SENSE OF URGENCY! WE GOTS TA GET TO THE CHURCH ON TIME GANG! WE HAVE RAISED MORE THAN $105 ON A COUPLE DAYS THIS WEEK. WE CAN DO IT AGAIN TODAY!

Today’s the last day though. Thanks for everybody’s help. Do you wanna have to look your kids in the eye and tell ‘em we got this close but just didn’t do it? Nah, you wanna be able to say that together we made a cool thing.

If we reach out and find $105 today, our wildest dreams will come true. That’s a promise.
