Here’s an idea…if you don’t like the way KFC is treating chickens…STOP EATING THERE! Everytime you give them your money you are telling them that you support the way they run their business. Every dollar you spend there goes to supporting the abusive practices you all say you’re against. Instead of waiting for a million like-minded people to see this and stand with you, why not take some personal responsibility now? While you’re waiting, how many chickens have to suffer the torture just to feed your love of KFC. You know about the abuse and disagree with it, yet you continue to support it just because everyone else is doing it. How can you justify this?

Beth Ann replied on Dec 11, 2008Ooopss…let me make one thing clear. I AM NOT A KFC CUSTOMER. Perhaps I joined the wrong group. I thought I was signing a petition to boycott KFC. I’m a proud vegan who thinks that anyone who eats meat, especially those who are proud to call them self KFC supporters, are only contriubution to the torture and cruel slaughter of millions of chickens every day. Just so they can eat chicken and biscuits, grow fatter and more unhealthy, and then drive up the cost of health care. LET’S START THE BOYCOTT NOW.

rigel best replied on Dec 18, 2008The issue is about “factory farming”. The masses will never stop eating meat but they may eventually develop a sense of ethics and morality about meat.

Anonymous replied on Dec 19, 2008I totally get the vegetarian/vegan stance, but I simply do not agree and don’t choose to argue it. I think that it is great to encourage the companies that make non-vegetarian foods to be more responsible and treat the animals better. I grew up around farm animals and always assumed all animals had a similar life, and it was a good life. Learning about factory farming has saddened me greatly. The more these practices are exposed the more likely the farmers will have to step up to the plate.
