DONT KILL CHICKENS!

  • i think god put chickens on earth for a reason and the reason is not to kill.

  • Anonymous_user_square

Your half right, chickens aer here for a reason. Its because they taste great with bbq sauce.

Im bored thats why im here. Funny how many vegans think ou can actually get the same proteins from vitamins you can get from actual meat.

To prove a point a person i know who has been a vegiterian since he was about 13 just recnetly was told by his doctor that the reason hes having leg pains is because he has stress fractures. Caused by lack of protein and calcium. Hes 26 and ha to give up sports like soccerr because if he dosent he will be guaranteed painful arthritis in his future.

I have no problem with people not wanting to eat meat, if you dont want to thats fine no ones forcing you too, and you shouldent be forcing us to eat vegtibles and give up a health balenced diet.

You dont see us forcing our beliefs on you, so please just drop it already, you want to get attention got your cause go protest, better yet organize a protest nation wide.

If chickens were ment to live as anthing but food they wouldent drowned in the rain. thats all im sayin and dont expect me back because frankly i dont care that much.

Ribs, bacon, ham, sirloin, filet mingnon, chicken breasts, chicken wings, and hamburger are all tasty and when eaten in moderation can be very healthy for you.

Should KFC be cleaning up their act? Maby but if so why hasent PETA gotten on television about it.

When the subject of rottweilers comes up the say “Kill them” because they are vicious animals trained to hunt small creatures.

So are about 100 other animals, so go ahead and cry to the hypocrites at PETA if they dont have an agenda to push they might get back to you.

  • Oh please. Don’t be an ignorant pr*ck all your life. Here is not the place to spout off drivvle. If you’ve nothing productive to do or say, may I suggest spelling lessons??……

I agree that there is no need to lecture people into becoming vegan, but I (as a meateater) joined this group because I disagree with KFC’s practices.

You don’t have to be veggie to care about animals, as I’ve always maintained, you need to be fussy about what you eat.

Eat local, organic, free range meat and dairy.

Oh, and I really hope you don’t choke on a chicken wing you knob :)

  • Vegetarians live longer than meat eaters. They are 4 times more likely to NOT get heart disease or diabetes, and they are more likely to have stronger bodies.

Your friend wasn’t getting enough protein because he wasn’t eating the RIGHT kinds of vegetarian foods. Also, he might have been a vegan. I know a lacto-ovo vegetarian, who gets her protein from eggs, and her calcium from milk and dairy products.

You shouldn’t go around critisising a choice. There are many different kinds of vegetarians. In fact, have fun finding out that you have a huge WORM in your intestines, because meat-eaters are FAR more likely to get a parasite in their meat, and it grows and eventually starts to eat your organs until you die a slow, painful death. My friend knows someone who had to get painful life-threatening surgery to get it removed. She’s lucky she lived, and the doctors recommend that she become a complete vegetarian.

Also, eating meat is like cannabalism. We are mammals, and animals, by the way.

Also, our teeth are NOT designed to chew meat. Do we have a set of sharp teeth? NO. Only four to chew fruits and veggies.

And NO, VEGETARIANS DON’T JUST EAT VEGETABLES. Do some REAL research. Jeez, you’re worse than a politician from one party critisising another!

  • Ok, I just want to say something. I’m very Anti PETA, but I also agree that animals shouldn’t be just killed for the sport of it, or used in testing in labs and such, that’s just dumb. Yes, I do eat meat, and I’m not ready to let someone tell me that because I eat meat, I’m barbaric and blood thirsty. I have some friends who are Vegetarian and they have to take a ton of vitamins just to make up for not eating any meat. I hunt and fish, does that make me a horrible person? Would you tell a lion to go have a salad instead of going and killing something? They don’t seem to realize that nature pretty much revolves around death. Animals eating other animals, people hunting and fishing, animals getting hit by cars… Etc. I’m not saying that animal cruelty is right, cause it’s not. But, what isn’t right, is someone bashing me or someone else because they eat meat.

  • Anonymous_user_square

Oh yeah, the whole parasitic worm thing, that only happens if you don’t cook it right. Alot of people who like their meat still pink in the middle, it’s still technically raw, they’re the ones who will get it.

  • Anonymous_user_square

The reason i posted was because a previous poster or maby it was the thread starter who was talking about how they were a vegan and therefore superior.

Well that guy can suck my left testicle. I have no problem with vegans, i have a problem with self righteous jerk offs.

I can understand not wanting to eat meat after all theres all the steroids and antibiodics they use on the animals in question and some wonder what kinds of effects they have on our bodies. I for one dont plan to live long enough to find out. When i can no longer get it up then im out, 6 feet under whatev.

But to act like not eating meat makes one somehow superior is a joke.

Disagreeing with KFC’s practice and not eating there is not going to do a thing to stop it, as long as they make money they see no reason to stop, they are a “Business” and dead chickes deep fried is how they make their money, anyway they can find to make it cheaper they will. You want to stop this try writing a letter to your local news editor asking them to address the issue, if they ignore it write a letter to another paper stating previous appers refusal to bring light to the situation. Just a few ideas that may work better then making a post online which only takes a few minutes and onl reaches the few who check out the site specifically for this reason.

I love animals but if an animal taste good i say eat it. That being said there are certain animals i wont eat. You want to fine but snakes, sharks and alliators are not appealing nor is any other animal thats capable of eating a person.

Who says i dont care about animals? I love most animals except bees but thats because im severly allergic and they can kill me a lot faster then a greasey hamburger.

Local is usually cheap, organic and free range means you pay more for food that hasent been proven to be healthier in any way.

Free range just means if a cow gets sick they let it die slowly in a field rather then treat it for a bronchial infection or put it out of its misey, so this way you pay more to cover the cost of those that dont make it. How is that humane?

Actually i dont eat chicken wings, theres not enough meat in them for me to justify it. Just threw it in there to add to the list.

Kimberly, from what i know theres no proven study that shows vegiterians live longer, its just guess work right now, unless you can provide a specific link to a reputable site such as webmd for instance.

http://darwinstable.wordpress.com/2008/12/03/re… check that link then get back to me about that little white lie about vegiterians living longer.

Yeah nice try ace he’s actually a tennis coach who knows the food pyramid like the back of his hand. Im sure he was eating a veried diet of vegtables and fruits.

There is only one kind of vegiterian, the kind that eats vegitables. Hence the term VEG-iterian. NO parasites here i was just at the doctors for a head to toe and im fit as a fiddle.

Lacto-Ovo is not a vegiterian, because the eggs still contain chicken dna its basically undeveloped meat.

And reguarding your friends friend, well i have a friend whos cousins softball coaches niece’s best friends sister once caught the flu from uncooked brussel sprouts. Its true because i said it is even though it sounds totally conveniant and fake.

Actually cannabilism would be a person eating a person, or a cow eating a cow, or a chicken eating a chicken i think you can see where im going with this.

Actually my front teeth are really sharp, razor like in fact. Also our teeth are the teeth of omnivores that is to say they are designed to eat both meat and vegitation.

And yes vegiterians as the name implies only eat VEGTABLES, i have to laugh at the people who say “Im a vegiterian and i eat fish” all i can think is then jack ass your not a vegiterian. Your vegtable preferental.

You see if i were to only kill people once in while id still be a killer. Whereas if i have never killed a person i could say im no killer.

If i drive a green car during the week and a gas hog on the weekends i can not say i bleed green.

If i swear off chemically made products but still use hairspray im not really against chemicals.

Can you underrstand it now? To be vegiterian you eat vegitables and vegitables only the end.

Its not like religion where there are different degrees of adherance to the laws laid out in the bible depending on which cult you go to church with.

Any who glad we had this talk. Oh and i only replied because i was bored yet again and i saw 4 replys to my comment so i thouht the least i could do was drop in and say hi.

    So hi :)

  • The egg is not meat because the Rooster never fertilised it. Just because it has the DNA, doesn’t make it a chicken. It’s like calling us undeveloped Primates, just because we share over 98% of their DNA.

The four teeth are designed for tearing fruits and veggies. Meat would be a breeze to eat if we had the teeth like a dog or cat. (I used to eat meat, and it was hard to chew it.)

I am not a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I never said that. I said that I KNOW a lacto-ovo vegetarian, but she converted to just lacto.

A lacto-ovo vegetarian is a vegetarian, but, as you said somewhat, they are not truely vegan. The only true vegetarianism is being a vegan. But they are, in fact, all a TYPE of vegetarianism.

No, vegetarians do not just live off of vegelables. If that were the case, we’d all be dead from lack of other vitamins.

I have researched vegetarianism for most of my adult life, and I can tell you that I have not have had any significant health problems other then a common cold or flu here and there. A link to a website wouldn’t prove anything, but it is a commonly know fact that vegetarians have an increased life span. I’m not telling everyone that reads this to go vegetarian, but I am telling them to please research what they are eating, so they are healthy, and the animals that they eat are healthy. All of the vegans (or vegetarians) that I know are perfectly healthy. Recently a friend of mine had to switch to vegetarianism, because the meat was getting to his heart. He ate mostly lean, and not very much to begin with.

I am not saying that eating meat is bad, for clarifycation, but rather that the whereabouts it came from to begin with. And, because this article is about the restaurant KFC, I am responding because I do not agree with their ways of treatment. Animals and livestock don’t deserve it. The animals feel pain, and KFC makes them stay alive to feel it longer. Lots of people avoid KFC mainly because of the frying. But others, because they know of what is going on behind the scenes in a slaughterhouse, where more than slaughter is going on.

I also want to point out that lots of the chickens there are sexually abused (practically a man raping a chicken), hit with 2-by-4s, and thrown around. Would you want to eat something that was sexually touched? Or something that was unhealthy because of it’s conditions.

You can go on to eating KFC people, but it won’t help you prove anything. (And no, saying that, “It proves they taste good,” is not a signifigant answer.

Thank you for pointing a few things out Anonymous, but I am not mainly responding to you, but to mainly the others that are so disagreeable.

  • Nichole, people that hunt for sport are horrible people.

  • That ANONYMOUS turkey is a total moron. The longest living people on the earth are vegetarians!

  • Anonymous_user_square

Actually we are classified a primates and considering we only use an estimated 8-10 percent of our brains i’m guessing that means were undeveloped, or not fully developed.

Hard to chew for “you” does not mean “we” weren’t meant to eat meat. Were omnivores we eat both, hard to chew for you dosent mean were vegiterians.

Cats and dogs have different teeth because they are carnivores that is to say they eat meat, were omnivores so naturally were going to have different teeth.

Cats are carnivores, cows are herbivores and bears are omnivores they eat fish and berries. Do you get it?

“A lacto-ovo vegetarian is a vegetarian, but, as you said somewhat, they are not truely vegan. The only true vegetarianism is being a vegan. But they are, in fact, all a TYPE of vegetarianism.” Nice way to contradict yourself there.

Eating lean meats and smothering them in sauces and the like kind of defeats the purpose, may be why your friend had a problem. Not saying thats the case just that its possible.

Abuse and sexual abuse are two different things. Since you cant prove the sexual abuse its pointless to mention it. Hitting a chicken with a 2×4 would kill it they are birds and their bones are the bones of birds full of air sacks and hollows, makes the bird lighter which allows for flight. A thrown chicken with clipped wings can still land safely. And as far as eating something that was sexually touched who’s to say my gf wasent molested when she was a kid thats not going to stop me from going down on her now.

I honeslty cant remember the last time i ate KFC but after reading this post im feelin a might peckish fr some KFC chicken kickers LOL.

“It proves they taste good” is a better answer then some of the drivel you post without mentioning unbiased sources.

I tried researching a few of your assertions and couldent find a thing. baseless accusations will not help what your fighting for, it just makes you look like someone who’s out to make a company look bad. Its about the same as brain dead Palin calling Obama a terrorist. It just made her party look bad.

I notice you dident have a word to say about the fact that “Free rage” animals arent treated with antibiotics and die of infections that could otherwise be cured, but i guess if they have a bigger field to die in its okay.

At this point im just getting a kick out of this, i should have been in the schools debate team LOL or went to school to become a lawyer hahaha.

  • Anonymous_user_square

All this campaign is about is cruelity to chickens, mainly KFC.

I have studied vegetarianism for several years. They do, indeed, live longer, because their bodies are not clogged by meat bulk, which effects the heart. All you can get from meat is protein, and barely any nutrients, judging from what the animal has consumed.

Have you ever been to a slaughter house? I have, to the KFC slaughter house, in fact. They do sexually abuse their chickens, and torture them with 2-by-4s and other tools like baseball bats, and it is disgusting. There are many chicken corpes on the floor, bloody feathers, and the air lingers with the smell of death.

I used to eat meat but quit. I tried brands like Morning Star Farms, and Boca, and they taste exactly like real meat, but are full of just as much protein and have many vitamins!

Eating an animal is gross, but most of my friends are meat-eaters, and I do not have a problem with it, because they buy from farms directly, not factory. They are healthy, but many of the vegans, as Kimberly Locke said, do have longer lives and are typically never have a health problem other than a cold or the flu.

You want a link for a website proving that vegetarians live longer? No website can give the truth from direct research. I am telling you as someone who has researched it.

Vegetarians do not technically live longer, like 20 years more, but they gain about 3-10 years more then meat-eaters.

If you plan on responding I suggest that you research and have a good explaination before dealing with a dietition who’s life is this topic.

  • Anonymous_user_square

I heard that too. I’m gonna go veg! Meat is gross!

  • Anonymous_user_square

Anonymous, you are blind to the facts. You are lying. Comparing vegetarians to politics, _especially- Sarah Palin, is stupid, too.

I’d also like to point out that Anonymous talking about being in the slaughterhouse, I believe that’s true. And Anonymous opposing that opinion, the one you are opposing is talking about sexual abuse, if you can’t read clearly.

What are you, some 13-year-old? Don’t respond to a campaign that you disagree with.

  • DO NOT EAT THIS CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IT’S BAD 4 U TOO!

  • Hey, big shot! You are full of condescension for the writers here and the ideal campaigned for and you’re too gutless to expose your ID. Take your boredom somewhere else.

  • Anonymous_user_square

Actually people who hunt for sport are the ones keeping deer and other wildlife from grazing on your lawn but whatever.

From the other anonymous “I have studied vegetarianism for several years. They do, indeed, live longer, " who also said "Vegetarians do not technically live longer” can any of you speak with out contradicting yourself?

Hard to stay on your high horse when you cant get your head out of your ass.

Reguarding what animals are fed, well majority of beef is corn fed they may graze in the fields but come feeding time its corn, thats healthy.

Chickens are fed bird seed, corn and bits of gravel, they need the bits of gravel to help them digest, and its somthing they do in the wild anyway.

I never said that vegtables dont (at least i dont think i did ?:l ) have protein just that vegtable proteins and supplemental proteins are different and proteins from meat are better.

" No website can give the truth from direct research. I am telling you as someone who has researched it." Kinda weird then how scientists can tell that a person has a high cholesterol level with a lab test, but cant prove the health benefits of a compleatly vegeterian lifestyle. I would think there would be research out there to back your assertions, but then again maby your just making stuff up off the cuff i dont know.

Oh and reading all the articles i can on computer repair and maintenance will not make me a repair technician, watching football on television for years and years will not make me a quarterback just saying.

“Anonymous, you are blind to the facts. You are lying. Comparing vegetarians to politics, _especially- Sarah Palin, is stupid, too.” Its called an analogy jackass look it up and get back to me.

Ive been to a slaughter house watched the process for cow treatment, and honestly i dident like beef before i saw that but it dosent stop me from eating a hamburger every now and then.

Im 27 born august 22 1981…whats that? No i will not hold while you pull out the calculator and do the math.

I honestly dont remember how i got to this site, but i do find it funny that no one has answered my questions yet about these so called free range farms while i have been answering your questions.

I may not agree with whats here but i thought id gain some enlightment hard to do in a place full of dim bulbs though.

Never said i was a big shot, but i am curious why it is that no one can answer simple questions or back op their claims with some sort of proof. Links to websites, yes universities that have done research are included as websites.

Im not gutless in fact if what your all saying is true then ive ingested plenty of guts in kfc’s chicken, so nerts to you. If i wanted more crap mail then i have now id happily post my email but since no one has even taken the time to point me to some relevent information backing up these allegations i see no reason to believe it blindly.

If i told you god talks to me and that all vegeterians are going to burn in hell would you believe me without so much a post it note? I sure as hell hope not.

Im simply trying to get answers with or without condescention dosent matter. I see lots of claims here but no real evidence or proof, or even so much as a book to read. Nothing, nada, zero, zip, zilch, also known as the big fat goose egg.

So far all ive seen is a lot of guff with no proof. The plus side is now i have somthing to do when im bored :) yeah im going to reply anonymously again so um get over it.

  • If you want some good academic reading material may I suggest any books by Peter Singer; he is a bioethicist who has written extensively on why we should be vegetarians, the factory farming industries, and so on. Look him up in google.

  • Anonymous_user_square

Im the annoying annonymous jerk off.

Thanks Rigel for the info ill check him out. Its great when people want to do somthing good, but so many people who commit time to stuff come across as people who dont even really know why they are for or against somthing, i was raising those questions because if it ever does get to the point where they are in front of a camera getting national attention they will hopefully be prepared for the kinds of questions they will be asked even if i did it with absolutely zero tact, oh yeah and i like to argue even if i dont nessicarily believe everything i argue, weird huh? Sounds sorta like a politician LOL.

Ill be sure to check out Peter Singer, and while i will likely continue to eat chicken i may end up avoiding KFC be my luck to walk out eating a chicken strip and walk into a crowed of protestors hehe.

Seems odd that with all the money spent on fast food marketing they cant come up with a healthy choice menu as comprable as their greasey fatty charbroiled deep fried flame kissed menu.

id eat a grilled mushroom and green pepper sandwich if it was filling enough and stayed with me, veggies just dont seem to for me though.
