  • Saturday October 25, 2008, My wife Marie and I, and our two children Shiloh and Margeaux, (Miniature English Bull Terriers) attended an Anti BSL Rally at Founder’s Veterinary Clinic in Brea California. The rally and protest of BSL was directed at Denver, Colorado and their discriminatory statute based on who knows what. There were about 125 Pit Bulls in attendance along with a Collies, Poodles, Cocker Spaniels, Japanese Emu something that look like Red Foxes, King Charles Spaniel, and every breed of dog that exists, and yes mixes and Labs. We walked over a mile to Brea City Hall, cars honking, giving us “thumbs up” support for opposing discrimination and BSL anywhere. There was a demonstration by a professional trainer, black and white Pit. He was so well trained, totally social, and completely obedient. He was a death row dog accused of killing a cat. He now is the best friend to a single mother and her two handicapped children. BSL is created by total Gov’t stupidity and wastes incredible resources.

  • Volunteered to help at my first ever Pit Bull Education Rally in Atlanta on the 25th. It was a nice dry and cool day in Atlanta and at one of their many family outdoor parks, guest speakers from USHS, Best Friends and pits for adoption from Fulton County Animal Shelter. Two breed ambassadors, beautiful gray bull terriers just as friendly as can be and as calm as could be. Posters, dogs yapping, free goodie bags for anyone that had a dog, dogs pooping, bottled water, dogs peeing, tee shirts with Pit Bull Education Rally logo on the chest, dog tails waging, educational literature, faces getting licked, Certificate for free spay/neutering of all pits and pit look alkies for all Fulton County residents, dogs getting belly rubs, did I mention free bottled water, dogs dragging spilling water dishes, prize raffle and I won the Petypaws pet toe nail sander, dogs chewing pigs ears. It was a great time had by all and the best part, we educated some people about our much maligned breed of choice, the ever faithful Pit Bull. It was good to be around like minded. people.
