    So what do you guys make of the fact that McCain has been championing deregulation for the last 26 years, and now that the entire financial industry is collapsing because of bad debts (which would not have happened with stricter government oversight) McCain is walking around saying “we need to regulate every investment?” Please reply. I’m genuinely curious.

    I am not a spokesperson for the McCain campaign so I can not speak to what specific comments you are speaking of. The problem is not deregulation. The problem is that rules and guidelines for reporting were not followed. McCain wants public disclosure to be complete, timely and honest and the rules of public disclosure to be followed.

    Isn’t it great that the United Stated of America’s economy is not solely based on the entire Financial Industry (which is run by 28 year old MBA’s who gave loans to people who could not pay them back). Right now is a great time to invest in Real Estate and the Stock Market as long as you have the CASH ,not credit, to wait it out.
