With over 200,000 Asian Americans in the Philadelphia metropolitan area (U.S. Census Bureau, 2006), the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF) was created to:
• Introduce Asian American perspectives to the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
• Educate local communities about Asian American history and issues.
• Encourage and foster growth in Asian American culture and elevate Philadelphia’s place as a
city of multicultural diversity.• Celebrate the very best works of Asian American filmmakers and actors.
(PAAFF’s fiscal sponsor is the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, a nonprofit corporation)

The reason we need $5000 is in order to secure our venue space for screenings all of our funny, sexy, scary, dramatic and action packed films.
If 500 people give $10, the cost of a movie ticket, we’ll be able to secure a venue for 4 or more days in Philadelphia.
Give a little and help bring something new and exciting to Philadelphia.
