What’s crazy is that I wouldn’t have given Terminator 2 an R rating. That movie seemed awfully PG-13 to me. These days, though, it seems as though pandering for the dollar is more important. That said, Wanted is one of top 3 opening R-rated weekend grossers of all time, and that just came out.
Ultimately, though, without Cameron and the other usual suspects, I just don’t see how this film can do as well as T2. Look at what happened with T3. I think that film actually turned people off of the franchise. I know I was unimpressed.
