THE PITCH

In the devastating wake of Hurricane Katrina, TeachersCount seeks your help! As with many other schools in New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina left Reed High School in disarray. Research shows that one of the most effective means for teacher professional development is through healthy collaboration. Therefore TeachersCount has partnered with Kappa Delta Pi and the National Parent Teacher Association to remodel Reed High School’s teachers lounge. Educators need to feel appreciated, and by providing an inspiring place for teachers to come together we can help to develop a thriving community.
