  • My cousin suffers form Crohn’s Disease. I am proud of your efforts.

  • Ari….Nice going. You are to be commended. Safe voyage. Henry & Elizabeth

  • Glad to help you over the half-way point…

  • Gay gezund ter hait!
It is such a coincidence that this reached the desk of my daughter, who is probably unaware that the Sussmans are dear friends of the Birnholtzes and a couple I have known since high school. Yasher koach!!!!!

  • Safe travels Ari!

  • Good Luck Ari and crew.

  • My dad was diagnosed with COLITIS and he was told that he would have to have his COLIN removed, he decided to go against the doctor’s advice and not have such done.

It was strange, because I as a layperson had really no idea what COLITIS was/is and I was told it had to do with POLYPS, which I had no idea what they were so I looked them up on WIKIPEDIA and I saw that it was a SEA CREATURE or ORGANISM and … well it is strange… then I saw that there was another DEFINITION as well… however I was wondering if there was a CONNECTION…. I am not sure… however now it’s odd that I see you are GOING on this SEA TREKKING voyage.

Around the turn of the century I realized the word VEGAN and the extent of the term related to various more ETHICAL ways of life, including “not experimenting on animals in an involuntary type way” and so as to say. I hope this voyage will bring peace not only for the HUMAN DAD however the RABBIT or MOUSE or MONKEY dads as well.
    SAIL SERIOUSLY, hope in peace.
    The answer in the wind…

Thank you for raising visibility about Colitis and Crohn’s! I read about your efforts in the Ann Arbor Reconstructionist Havurah’s newsletter, the Grapevine, and wanted to show my support.

I had ulcerative colitis as a teen-ager and had to have my colon removed. I feel so blessed that I survived all of my surgeries and now, 25 years later, am doing very well, ileostomy and all.

Here’s to a safe and wonderful journey.
