I love sniplits! I have dozens of stories and they were all very well done. Recently submitted my first story to them. I’ve been writing 22 years and am excited about this site!

It’s really hard for short story authors – particularly young and new authors – to find publishers that will pay them for their stories. That’s why I started Sniplits. Sniplits pays an advance + royalty potential. Stories are professionally produced as MP3 audio files and sold for between $.48 and $1.28. I need your help to spread the word about these new authors, stories and Sniplits. Will you please try a story and help spread the word? www.sniplits.com

Like people all over the world, we’ve been heartbroken by the devastation and loss caused by the earthquake in Haiti. So Sniplits is joining the entertainment industry in doing what we can.
From now through Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2010), Sniplits will be donating the net proceeds on all story sales to Hope for Haiti Now. You can join us and get a great story too at http://www.sniplits.com.

I’m very excited to announce that the Mystery Writers of America board of directors has added Sniplits to its list of approved publishers!
In order to become an Active Member of MWA, authors must have books and/or stories published by MWA’s approved list of publishers and publications. Mystery Writers of America is the premier organization for mystery and crime writers,
professionals allied to the crime writing field, aspiring crime writers, and folks who just love to read crime fiction.

Anne Stuessy replied on Nov 7, 2008Thanks! I had to close submissions for a few months because I’m buried in them, but I hope to open the door to new submissions in the next month or so.

Gail Farrelly replied on Nov 8, 2008I LOVE being a Sniplits author. Judith West, the actress who narrates my story, does a wonderful job. She has such a beautiful voice. I’m not a techie; but now, as a Sniplits author, I can sort of PRETEND to be. I feel like I’ve crossed the big divide into a whole new world of multimedia. It feels great. I hope Anne gets many more writers and listeners at Sniplits.
Cheers,
Gail Farrelly, Author of the Sniplits story “Even Steven”

antara replied on Nov 8, 2008I have a story up at Sniplits — it’s called
‘Panic’ and is a deep story about creativity and lust and spirituality. I think audio is the way to go for our hectic times when people can just tune into their iPODS when they’re travelling or doing something else. Antara is the name I wished I had. My real name is Anita Saran. I hope people who love good stories will support us at Sniplits. Thanks

Lydia Ondrusek replied on Nov 12, 2008Sniplits is set up in a totally customer-friendly way, saving your library for you and drm-free — I’m really proud to be one of the authors there, and to be able to support it in this way.
