THE PITCH

Australia exports a lot of sheep and other animals. These animals suffer, just so that someone in another country can eat them. They are put on overcrowded trucks and boats, and many die from starvation, dehydration and lack of oxygen.

If we have to export these animals, we want either:
a) much better conditions for these animals
or
b) the animals to be killed humanely before being exported

Does anyone have any thoughts on who we can write to? Where to demonstrate? Other things we can do?

    Thanks!

  • yes- if you are a registered voter call your local Election Board and give them your address and name and they will tell you who is your State Rep, Congress-person and Senator, you can also look this up on the web. but you need to write I just sent 2 emails to stop our U.S/military to stop using pigs, goats and other animlas on base , shooting them in the face ,cutting the legs off with garden equipment while they are still alive so military personel can know how to treat wounded soldiers, so now our soldiers are likened to pigs and goats…this is barbaric , cruel and to close like frankenstien and joseph Mengle so write ; also mention you want Congress to pass bill 418- this is to protect pets from domestic violence in the homes from acts of cruelties.

Thanks. I only know the Australian contacts. If people from other countries can find out where to contact for people in those countries, that would be great. And since email is free we can contact as many people as possible worldwide.
