  • Well, Thank you very much Ms. Whyte for enlightening me on this subject.

I had no idea! You have my full cooperation.

I will share this information with my friends and co-workers through e-mail.

I will also ask them to forward this information on to as many people as possible.

    Thanks again.

I didn’t buy Cover Girl because I didn’t like the smell of the make-up. What a lucky break! I am a strong advocate for anti-cruelty to animals.
Yes, let’s get the minimum # of people needed to proceed, then let’s get a boycott going, as well as well as an awareness of the practice raised.
There are better products available and many of the good ones that are not cruel to animals, nor too expensive. Perhaps we could buy a little starter item for a good product as we ask them to join the boycott. The holidays are coming up and it would be a good time to launch this.
First let’s get on the phone and/or invite friends over for coffee and a talk.

  • I am always writing emails, letters, or making calls to congress members or foreign ministers about animal rights.
It makes me sick when I think of all the animals that suffer each year because of testing. This is the 21st century and there is no good reason for such horrific cruelty to continue. We may not be able to stop all the cruelty in the world, but to stop a company such as Cover Girl would be a landmark success!

  • I WILL JOIN TO COHERSE THE BOYCOTT OF COVER GIRL

  • I hope this doesn’t offend anyone, But, instead of using animals for testing, why don’t they use people on death row? Or is that inhumane? These innocent animals have done nothing to deserve what is being done to them. People on death row have destroyed families, taken lives and every other horrible thing, so why can’t we use them for testing? Who’s better than another human to test products for humans? And yes, I believe these people get a thrill out of torturing innocent, defenseless animals. That makes them real tough, doesn’t it?

  • In a word, WOW!
    CAPITAL SUGGESTION!
    Ms. Woropajew,
    If only it could happen.

Don’t get me started though. Now that you mentioned it, there is a lot of use that could come out of those scam bags on death row. We all could probably name lots.

Some of them have been sitting there for years. Why not utilize them for the GOOD of all animals, all tests to save animals and human lives.

What a great suggestion. It doesn’t offend me in the least. Those people didn’t care enough for themselves or others. I say either use them for testing or let them fry right away!!!!

I feel capital punishment should come back into “play”, if you will.

    LOL

  • I believe ELLEN made an extremely bad choice. Even if she claims that P&G does not experiment on animals with her product, she is condoning the use of it within the corporation. I think she should be publicly associated with Cover Girl experiments. Use her popularity to influence P&G.

  • I completely agree with you. The influence she cares is huge. They say they do not test on her product yah right but they test on all the other products and that is ok with her, its that being a hippocrite? What about Drew Barimore has any one reached u to her?

  • do we have ellen email or blog because I would like to forward my opinion

  • well,i recently joined in the movement i cant believe how many animals die because of testing

  • Testing of any animals for any reason is not necessary. I posted an email to Ellen, but of course there was no response. I think everyone of these messages should be directed to her also. You can find the site easily under Ellen in Google.
I think we should list all the products that P&G makes. For example: Tide, Dawn, etc. Just look at a couple of products each time you shop and enter them here.
