Thank you for joining the Starbucks Eco-Cup Switch campaign!
I started this group last January because I was fed up with Starbucks. They’re the largest specialty coffee retailer in the world, but they fail to take a leadership role in dealing with the waste their products create.
The easiest change for them to make is to switch to a recyclable or compostable cup, and ensure that their stores have recycling.
Starbucks is even willing to do this — but not until 2015. We have 375 members in our movement who say, “That’s too slow!”
When our group gets to 1,000 people we plan to simultaneously contact Starbucks and demand action now, not in six years!
*Please help us get there: Invite two people to join this Starbucks Eco-Cup Movement. Let’s get to 1,000 members before the end of the year! Let’s do it today! *
Spread the word on Twitter, Facebook page, and your blogs. Let’s show Starbucks that we seriously care about this issue and the environmental impact of their practices!
Thanks again,
Cat Lincoln
