Create a local demonstration site for solar power, and create a home for a person to live for free.

If we reach at least $100,000 by November 1, 2010, then We will give money to:

THE PITCH

Solar power needs a boost. and Someone less fortunate needs a home. Create a home for someone to live in with a demonstration area to show students, parents and the community how easy it can be to use alternative energy solutions. Including Wind, Photovoltaic, Solar Water, wood, Geothermal energies.
Anyone who would like to donate the land for this project is very welcome. We are looking for a highly visible location close to shopping.
We are hoping to help a retired person or couple to live sustainably without the need for gasoline cars. Home grown and local food.
Currently working on a 501c3 application.
Anyone looking to donate labor, service welcome.
