messageHow about we start asking our local governments to spend more on public transit so we don’t have to fill-up our tanks twice a week to just get to work?…I live in a rapidly growing area which is in desperate need of public transportation- some people car or van-pool or bike to work, but for many it’s not an option.
If more of us take public transportation, we will automatically stop giving Exxon Mobil the high profits!

That is a great idea. At a certain point there will need to be alternatives, simply because the country won’t be able to afford the gas any more. The question for the politicians is how long can they afford to wait—at a certain point we are going to elect officials who understand that we really do want a better option than “one car, one driver, one gas pump”
