THE PITCH

Remember the good old days? Bands making music for the love of it, wild tours, good times, and none of this bullshit with labels turning over groups after two radio hits. The industry has grown sour, and the record labels are only making it worse.
Musicians need to follow the lead of Trent Reznor and Radiohead; make money off shows and merchandise, not albums! People will get the albums for free whether you make it available yourself or not.
The information age has destroyed the major label monopoly over music, and there’s no going back. So rather than waste time living in the past, we need to inform musicians to look towards the future and embrace the digital revolution. Gone are the days of rockstars and billion dollar album sales; and good riddance! Lets return the focus to the music and away from the milked-dry cash cow.

www.tthlabel.com

This website has been a godsend for myself and many others. Founded by a musician who was fed up with other online distributors such as CDBaby who overcharge for less than quality products. He’s a very easy to approach guy, and will produce CDs at cost by 10s, 100s or 1,000s. If you’re looking for a shelter from the storm and still want to produce physical CDs for personal sale, this is the only place to go. CDs and case printing are at qualities above what you’d find from most major-label releases.
