Same question as Nisha, I’d definitely buy more if I can utilize multiple coupons for one purchase.

Groupon Valid for Running Shoes Only announced about 1 year ago
- THE PITCH
-
Due to the holiday weekend, this deal will run through Monday.
For only $30, you get a $60 Groupon to Running Away Multisport, which can be used on all its awesome running shoes. With summer almost here, it's a great time to get a fresh pair for outdoors or as a Father's Day gift that says, "You're out of shape."
Running Away was originally a mobile storefront, but after customers got tired of jumping through their moving door, Running Away decided to have a still location at 1634 W North Ave. (between Marshfield Ave. & Paulina St.). Running Away has a friendly and warm staff that will evaluate your stride to figure out your perfect running shoe. Test out your running shoes on the store’s treadmill, then test them on your feet. Plus, Running Away sells all the name brands, including the new Ecco Biom and a secret brand sold exclusively to Masons.
The benefits of running are many: only one shoe has to touch the ground at a time, thereby reducing wear and tear on sneakers in half. Plus, places move by like you're in a car, only slower. A wise man once said, "Run! Running am good!" We agree with the wise, but inarticulate man: Running am good for your leg health, cardiovascular system, and to keep sidewalk barnacles from getting out of control.
If you've got feet (or ankle nubs shaped like feet), Running Away is the place to get you racing to great health. Sign up for Running Away's Fun Runs and check out the events it supports at RAM Racing.
Running Away is getting props with a four-star rating on Yelp. Read what runners are saying:
- "Good shop. The guys in there know what they are talking about. They are always willing to help. Even at times when I have been in there just looking at the new stuff. The staff doesn't try to force you into the most expensive shoes they have, but rather the shoes that will work the best for you and what you are looking to do." - M.C.
- " Over the past year the staff at Running Away has been very helpful in answering my questions while not treating me like an inexperienced idiot. Additionally, with their help I have kept my feet in perfectly fitting, compatible running shoes." - Erin P.
- "I came to Running Away to go shoe shopping. The sales associate was extremely helpful. I started out on the treadmill so he could get a good look at my feet and we went from there. I tried on around 7 pairs of shoes, and may have spent almost an hour at Running Away until I made a decision. I will definitely come back when it's time for a new pair." - Amanda B.

Cassie C replied on May 23, 2009Hi Nisha and Charlie,
There is a limit of 1 Groupon a person (although you can buy more if you want to give them away as gifts), so you will not be able to use more than 1. You can also find this information in the “Fine Print” box at the upper right hand corner of the Groupon write-up.
Have a great holiday weekend!
Best,
Cassie Cohen :-)

Niki Conrad replied on May 30, 2009I was told today when I went in to purchase my running shoes that there was a minimum purchase amount in order to use my Groupon. A purchase of $120. I just kinda went, “Ok, guess I didn’t read the fine print,” but the thing is, I thought I DID read the fine print.
Now I’m going through the ad/Groupon again & see nothing on here that states this as a condition. What gives? I bought 2 pairs of $13 socks cuz I was told I had to fulfill the minimum (my shoes were $100).
This makes me concerned to purchase more Groupons cuz I’m not a fan of bait & switch, y’know?

Jim Kelly replied on May 31, 2009I have two concerns. First, there was no mention of just shoes in the initial announcement. Second, now there is something that says it’s for new customers only. I also do not remember the $120 minimum. Although I love the groupon concept, they have to get the details correct the FIRST time or people are just going to stop using them. They better make the “fine print” a little more prominent. Also they better get ALL the details straight from their sponsors BEFORE they put the groupon up online . . .

Joe Harrow replied on May 31, 2009Hi Niki and Jim,
Very sorry to hear about this. You are both right, this $120 minimum is not in the Fine Print and should not be required to use this Groupon. I will follow up with Running Away first thing tomorrow to see where this misunderstanding is coming from and to make sure this does not continue to happen to others that purchased this Groupon. We’re not fans of bait & switch either here at Groupon.
We do try to get all the details right with the business before we publish these Groupons, but sometimes we mess up. When we do, we try to correct these as quickly and thoroughly as possible when it happens and we try to learn from our mistakes. We are working right now on a redesign that will make this fine print much more noticeable. Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Again, I am very sorry to hear about this misunderstanding with Running Away and would like to assure both of you that we will work to get this sorted out as quickly as possible.
Sincerely,
Joe Harrow

Jim Kelly replied on Jun 1, 2009Thanks, Joe. Was the “open only to new customers” in the Fine Print too, because I missed that the day I bought the Groupon?
And if it was there, how do I get my $$ back?
Thanks.
Jim

Jim Kelly replied on Jun 1, 2009Joe,
How can I change the name on my profile from JIm to Jim? Couldn’t get there via “Edit Profile”
Thanks.

Joe Harrow replied on Jun 1, 2009Hi Jim,
You should be able to edit the name on your account by going to the “Settings” page. I went ahead and made this change for you.

Eric Pelz replied on Jun 2, 2009I bought the groupon but when I go to the link to print it their is no groupon there. What should i do? When does this groupon expire?
-
Cassie C replied on Jun 2, 2009Hi Eric,
It seems like this problem is because you have an account that was created with Facebook connect that is different than the account you used to make this purchase. To resolve this (and print your Groupon) first go here: http://www.thepoint.com/logout to logout, then log back in, http://www.thepoint.com/login , but this time using the email address and password that you used to make your initial Groupon purchase (not using the Facebook connect button). Once you’ve done this, the link to view and print your Groupons should work: http://www.thepoint.com/mygroupons . Also, while you are logged in, click on the Facebook connect button to sync Facebook to this account.
Sorry if this is confusing. Let me know if you have any questions or if this doesn’t work for you.
