This deal offers two (very different) TV show tours: The Sopranos and Gossip Girl. For just 25 bucks, hop aboard as a tour guide takes you (via luxury coach bus) to all the sites that define one of the two shows. Choose from one of the following:

  • The Sopranos Tour: If you loved the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Italian-American mobster series, you'll love the On Location tour. Your guide will take you on a four-hour tour through Soprano-land (aka NYC and New Jersey), showing you more than 40 shooting locations. You'll stop at Father Phil's Parish, go inside the Bada Bing, sit on the steps of the diner where Chris was shot, and enjoy the restaurant booth where Tony sat in the last scene of the series. On the bus, you'll listen to the unforgettable theme song, "Woke Up This Morning," and watch tons of clips from the show to help you remember just what drama went down at every spot on the trip. Sopranos tours meet near Seventh Av. and 39th St,, Fridays at 10 a.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m.
  • Gossip Girl Tour: Join Manhattan's elite on a 3.5-hour tour of all the glamour of the WB's hit series. Feel what it's like to be Blair as you stop by her Fifth Avenue abode. Check out the steps of the Met where all the Queen Bees eat their morning yogurt before school at Constantine Billard (another stop on the tour). See the glamorous Upper East Side Mansion where Bart Bass and Lily van der Woodsen wed. Journey to the Lower East Side to see the Box, Chuck's burlesque club. Along the way, watch scenes from the show to see which characters were "spotted" at each destination. GG tours meet near the Palace Hotel, Fridays and Sundays at noon.

Reviews

The Gossip Girl Tour is a Metromix pick. Here's what they say:

  • After 40-plus location call outs, several stops, trivia tidbits and some choice GG clips, our tour ends. The three-and-a-half hours of pretend tourist time (not to mention the sugar rush of frosting shots and trivia treats) has given us a refreshing break from our daily routine. And as a fan of GG, we are even more "xoxo" over this show.

Yelpers give On Location Tours four stars. See what tour-goers think about their escapes from reality into their favorite TV worlds:

  • the tour was excellent in so many different ways....it was interesting to check out what lurks right across the Hudson....and (we) ended our trip at the Badda Bing strip club where we all had a drink and tipped the girls. – CB M., about The Sopranos
  • Tracy, the tourguide, was a perfect fit - very sassy and cute and funny - she made the tour!...I think even a die-hard fan could take the tour and enjoy themselves. – Meagan H., about Gossip Girl
