In a city like New York nothing gets done unless there’s a very large voice to be reckoned with. Even illegal and immoral acts take place every day, and are never punished or challenged. People get robbed, beaten and cheated all the time. The reaction we largely get from the Government meant to help serve and protect the peace??? Nothing but indifference. Once a wrongdoing becomes common knowledge through the media, then a response to rectify such things take place. You would think that wrongdoings would be addressed simply because they are wrong. NOT. They are addressed once someone knows that the media will draw a picture of an agency, person or group that has not done their job for justice and deserve public disgrace. Then change comes.
The Parking laws and regulations of NYC cater to the rich and punish the working laborer. It’s largely municipal extortion that has very little connection to irresponsible parking. It’s about NYC making 1 Billion a year. Join me to stop this. - ORGANIZER
