THE PITCH

TripAdvisor, the online travel community, recently launched a campaign called “More than Footprints” in which they are giving away $1 million dollars to five charities — and you can determine how that money should be split by voting for your favorite charity. The charities featured are: Conservation International, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy and Save the Children.

Think of the $1 million as a pie. Each organization’s slice of that pie depends on how many votes it receives.
