Entertainers Collaborating On- Performing Audience Initiated Displays

What is an Eco-PAID event?

Here is the idea. If an audience member of a particular talent genre such as Storytelling wants to help the environment and reduce their entertainment carbon imprint Eco-Paid would be the answer.

A volunteer host would arrange to have 10-40 guests visit their home to be entertained by a performer that visits from a distance.Or Adudiences intiate a need for a talent to be displayed at a local Hall, School, Bar, Library etc. If only 20 friends visit Portland for an event from rural Maine lets say from 30 miles or more (not uncommon) the carbon impact of fuel is that of one person going 1200 miles round trip.Even if these friends took 4 cars and car pooled it would be 240 miles round trip.

However if the friends are close to the hosts home than the tellers 60 miles saves on emissions caused by the group and saves the groups wear and tear on their vehicle use.
Because the audience decided on the event time, and date as a group they also eliminated the paper and energy effort it usually takes to publicize and fill a performance Venue! It is a win-win for the audience and the performing artist.

This Eco-PAID event will be econmicaly feasible for host and performer if 20 particpants help reach the tipping point.
The particpants living within 15 mile of Mechanic falls Maine will reduce their Entertainment Carbon footprint in half and spend less road time than if they particpated in an event held in Porland Maine.

Willey often includes interactions with his audiences and he peppers his performance with lots of clichés, and puns which may not be suitable for young children.
