  • Jodi Rell vetoed the legalization of medical marijuana last year – mostly becuase she was afraid of the message it sent to today’s youth and becuase the bill was not set up for terminal patients only. I have lived with two debilitating illnesses for the past 26 years – I am tired of being denied treatment just because I am not terminal. that is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard. I am in chronic pain 24/7 and many other symptoms daily. Marijuana should be legalized – to end suffering of so many people living with chronic illnesses, inclluding but not limited to cancer. I am not sure what other action is available to take on this vetoed bill, or how to get things started up again….if that would even do any good at this point. I will keep watching for future forums to speak out, maybe some day things will change. till then….. we wait.

  • I love what Mass is doing this year! They have a real chance to decriminalize marijuana which applies to EVERYONE!! Dont get me wrong i do support medical marijuana but i support its decriminalization even more! The only harm marijuana has done to this country is adding to its prison population! IT HASN’T KILLED ANYONE!!! I dont understand how alcohol which is well known for its correlation to fatal accidents as well as cases of alcohol poisoning, and addictiveness……can be purchased by an adult while a stinking weed that makes you stupid makes you a criminal! In CT where i live, our gov vetoed our shot at medical marijuana! Now i dont think its a cure for anything but i do think it could help! And i think some of the “legal” prescription drugs out there are much worse. I believe the cannabis plant in general should be legalized. Between the female flowers and its resins (marijuana, hashish), the pulp and hurd filled stalk (hemp), and the life bearing seed (in which hemp seed oil can be extracted). Its a plant that could help mankind more than it could hurt it……if we let it!!!

  • Marijuana should be legalized all across the United States for medicinal purposes. there are so many ways this natural herb helps us to live & love life. the research is endless on all the ways marijuana can help us. http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/marijuana-equ…
