Sportscasters and our rival schools like to denounce Michigan as having a weak-spirited student section at its football games, regardless of the unbelievable size of the Big House. The few times this season and in years past there have been unsuccessful attempts at Maizing Out. Let’s prove our critics wrong and MAIZE OUT once and for all!
Maizing out is when the entire student section decks themselves out in maize or yellow for the football game. Everything from clothes to face paint to pom poms is yellow so that the students all are unified and display their Michigan pride. If everyone in the student section is decked out in maize, we’ll show our solidarity for all to see.
The NU vs. Michigan football game is our LAST ONE of the season, so let’s go out with pride! If 300 people have 3 friends maize out, that’s 1200 people in yellow! Everyone in the student section has to partake in order for this to be a success, so pledge your support & let’s make this happen once and for all!

To help make the Maize Out as MAIZED OUT as possible, we will be providing fans wearing all yellow with yellow face paint right outside of the entrance to the stadium!!
