“Let’s make a change for poor children in Saigon” failed to tip before the deadline, January 1, 2010

Chinese New Year’s is the biggest and most important holiday in Vietnam. It usually takes place around January or February every year. While other kids enjoy abundance of happiness, good foods, clothes, love from parents, poor kids in Saigon as well as everywhere else in Vietnam are filled with lost, hungriness, emptiness, and much more. They do not know what “fun” is. They are forced to work, help out with chores around the house, etc. at such an early age. Some cant even afford to have a pair of sandals to wear. Instead, they walk barefoot on cement all day.
We cant help but have tears in our eyes every time we visit them during Chinese New Year. We try to bring as much joy, foods, clothes, medicines, comfort as we can to those little souls.
