THE PITCH

The $700 Billion Federal Bailout Plan failed to address the real issue driving the current US financial Crisis : The Death Spiral of foreclosures, dramatically-declining property values and ballooning mortgage payments for average homeowners.

But there is a proposed Plan called “A Solution That Works” which will help stop this death spiral, stabilize the housing market and benefit all American homeowners.

The Plan, if implemented, would put homeowners in the loans at greatest risk of foreclosure into a safe, fully-amortizing 30 year fixed loan at a lower interest rate. It would immediately waive any preexisting pre-payment penalties and would be fair to all homeowners because no principal would be forgiven.

With this plan, people could stay in their homes, foreclosures would be dramatically reduced and market values stabilized.
