I received a $5k check in the mail today, and mailed in a check of my own. The Point is going to update the campaign soon to reflect this new balance.
At this point, I have a total of $14,000 in donations, $4,485 in pledges here at the site, and a $165 check I kicked in myself to help make up the cost of credit card fees charged by The Point when the tipping point is reached and they call in all your pledges! This should happen when another $3,350 in pledges are made.
(make sure your credit card expiration dates are up to date through, say, September)
