THE PITCH

Please join us in applying pressure to the Clinton campaign to end its destructive game of politics. We deserve a candidate who values his or her country above his or her own inflated sense of self and ego.

However, throughout the course of the 2008 presidential campaign, we have seen a much different side to Senator Clinton, one that is disturbingly dark and self-serving. Her attacks on Senator Obama, her fellow Democratic candidate, are needless, cruel and demonstrate an utter lack of concern over the future of our party.

Her continued claims of 35 years of experience have slowly but surely been discovered to be embellishments or outright lies. Her blatant endorsement of the presumptive Republican nom Read More

Her blatant endorsement of the presumptive Republican nominee, Senator John McCain, bordered on traitorous. Her dismissal of the importance of pledged delegates — those Americans who represent the voters’ wishes — is appalling.

Please join us in this campaign to take our party back. Many thanks.

If you haven’t carved your pumpkin for halloween, visit the campaign to carve pumpkins to get out the votes. You can do slogans, picture, and more.

There’s a campaign with some pumpkin patterns at http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/carve-your-pumpkins-to-get-out-the-vote-on-nov-4 if you want to check it out.

A friend carved a pumpkin for Obama, and the simplicity of the idea as well as the notion of lighting up your neighborhood with this message just hit me as something many of us can do.
