Groupon and The Greater Chicago Food Depository are teaming up to feed some families in need this Thanksgiving.
If we can reach our goal of $5,000, Jim and Kay Mabie and Anne and Brent Peterson have agreed to make a matching grant. That’s enough to feed 40,000 people this holiday season.
The Food Depository serves about half a million people annually. And every week nearly 90,000 people including seniors, children and working families—rely on the Food Depository for food. During the last fiscal year, the Food Depository distributed more than 58 million pounds of food. They are working hard to help the people in need but they need your help!
