THE PITCH

I have never owned a car before. I have chronic fatigue syndrome, and it is hard for me to use public transport or to walk or ride my bike everywhere!

Especially as I am on a government pension, I cannot afford the cost of initial outlay. If i can raise $2500 minimum for a second hand car, like an automatic Ford Laser 1992 model with air conditioning and registration, then I can learn to drive on the car I will be comfortable with.

Having a car will also help me to get to work, once I qualify in the animal homeopathy course I will complete this year!

I volunteer with animal shelters as well and it is exhausting to catch a bus and then walk, or ride my bike out there and back. This is often inconvenient and tiring for me, as this often means I am reliant on buses or pedal power, and I’m not able to summon that much energy yet! And buses can sometimes be late or not running at all!

Please help me to buy a good decent car!
