If we reach at least $5,000 by December 31, 2009, then She will be able to attend grad school for a degree in social work so she can help people in need.

THE PITCH

I’m trying to raise money to help a friend pay tuition for a masters degree in social work. She is currently working at a shelter for abused women and she wants to get a masters degree in social work so she can continue to help women and children who are in need, but she isn’t able to afford the tuition costs. She has achieved straight As in her undergraduate studies and is committed to social work and helping others.
