Help fund my reporting trip to Vietnam
OBJECTIVE
To raise $1,512 for a reporting trip to Vietnam by November 10.
TERMS

If we reach at least $1,512 by November 10, 2009, then We will give money to:

THE PITCH

In January, I will travel to Vietnam to shine a light on one of the forgotten places where the legacy of war is still affecting people’s welfare and lives today, Quang Tri Province.

Unable to cultivate their land, the people of Quang Tri now hunt out explosives left over from the war to sell on the scrap metal market, with deadly results.

National news outlets, including World Vision Report, NPR and GlobalPost have already signed onto the project.

As a social justice journalist and the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, I look forward to sharing this important story with you.

By joining my campaign, you helped me get broadcast to the larger ‘The Point’ community and get a little closer to my goal. I am 12% toward my goal of $1,512 by November 10!
