THE PITCH

I have always wanted to finish and publish my book about my childhood life. The finishing of the book would be theraputic and interesting and insightful for others to read.

The first book would cover the first ten years of my life where I grew up strongly attached to my three siblings because we did not have a “normal” childhood. My father is an alcoholic and my mother is atypical schizophrenic. Because of this at age four, I helped my older sister of age 8 feed, cloth and change diapers on my newly born brother. We have always known that “something” set us apart from our friends. We had to mature faster in some areas of life and have never and probably will never fully mature. All of us are adults now but still feel the need to take care of our parents.

This book would be an account of my point of view of how my childhood life has been blessed by the crises that I have encountered. Future books would include my teenage years and my struggles today. Thank you
