For three years, I’ve been gearing up towards writing, recording and releasing my next studio project. I’ve finally come to the decision that I’ll record most of the tracks at home, and half at Chicago’s Electrical Studios. This might take another few months, another year, who knows. But money figures into a big part of the equation.
To be able to produce and release a recording is a fundamental, vital exercise for any musician. I want to be able to share my new work with listeners who have stood by me through my artistic journey and attract new listeners as well.

Hey everyone! Your cds will be mailed to you on January 14. You should receive them a few days after that. If you haven’t emailed me your address, please do so at begtodiffa@gmail.com.
My CD release show is Saturday, January 17 at Uncommon Ground on Devon (1401 W. Devon) in Chicago. I’ll be playing an hour-long set with songs from the album, with my band backing me up. The show starts at 10 pm. Please make a reservation around 9ish if you’d like a table (or else you can stand, there will be enough room, I’m sure.) Their number is: 773 465 9801.

Thanks to everyone again for helping me make this happen. The album is being mixed right now and is about to enter the mastering phase. I have started a new campaign to raise money for duplication (hey it worked the 1st time around!!!) If you’d like to donate, please type in “independent musician” in the search box to find it.
I’ll get a copy of the CD to you once duplication is done, but if you’d like a burned CD of the album (without all the pretty art,) please let me know. Also you can listen to tracks at www.myspace.com/jennygillespie.
