In May of 1986, “Hands Across America” occurred as an event to raise money for the poor, hungry, and those in poverty. As our nation regresses into a country full of jobless and poverty-stricken individuals, it is our duty as citizens of the United States to stand up and help out our neighbor and to create a sense of unity across the US.
On September 7th, 2009 at 12:00 (Labor Day) take a moment to stop what you are doing, and grab the hand of a neighbor, co-worker, family member, or better yet, a stranger on the street, to link not only your hands but to pass the power of compassion, acceptance, and strength. This will empower each and every one of you to give of yourself and provide the help millions of individuals in this nation and in this world so desperately need and deserve.
All proceeds to any type of merchandise or collection will be immediately contributed to local charity.
