yes, I beleive that is what he was getting at… really some sites do let you edit your own post… in my online class it is up until the discussion is closed for viewing, in another class (that I moderate) I have it set for 24 hours… the reason for this is in case someone makes a typo, fragmented sentence, ecetera and discovers it at a latter time… and yes, I agree his writings are hard to follow… he has psoted at some of my forums… but I think it was really an attempt to warm me about something… any who, his “significant” posts are not really bothering anyone… he likes to write it seems, so if it makes him happy… to each his own… I for one am all for editing of my own posts… don’t see any harm in it and most forums do allow it…
but the main reason I joined his campaign was because the qualification discription made me smile

Danny Hallum replied on Oct 28, 2007Hi gri AntChuGov G.A.,
I followed your link. I have to tell you, it’s very difficult to understand your writing. First of all, I didn’t join your campaign. You and Marilyn are the only two members. But I think I’m finally beginning to understand your campaign. You would like for thepoint.com to allow you to edit your own posts after they’ve been submitted, right? And you and Marilyn have committed to making all significant posts at a different website
- one that allows you to edit your posts -and posting on thepoint.com nothing more than links those off-site posts. I guess that sounds somewhat reasonable.Hey, people of thepoint.com, is “edit this post” an option that you’ve considered offering to the authors of posts? I think that’s all AntChuGov is getting at, but it’s hard to tell. Also, the browsing of campaigns could be made more user friendly if there were better sorting options. For example, what’s the point of filing a campaign under “raise money” or “ultimatum” if you can’t browse by category? Maybe AntChuGov should start another campaign about the sorting options. We’ll agree to do all our campaign sorting on notecards if you primates don’t stop restrict users’ sort organization time, grivitonometrically speaking, that is.

Danny Hallum replied on Oct 23, 2007I think AntChuGov stopped posting significant posts awhile ago. I am half spider monkey, though. Maybe that’s why I don’t get it. Oh, this definitely not a significant post. Maybe I should join…
