We are a social and environmental activist student group who seeks to incorporate GREEN into our school UW. Numerous buildings within the UW system currently meet the standards needed for certification and our Student Organization seeks to obtain LEED certification for the buildings. With LEED certification, our UW buildings can improve the sustainability of our investment and the competitiveness of our UW. As active students, we know we can be a major impact in the greatness of our University. We can accomplish this by investing our time into the organization and provide consulting services in sustainability at no cost to our UW. However consulting is only the half of it, in order to be recognized as sustainable by the United States Green Building Council we need to submit the findings along with $10,000 for the certification. Greener RE’s strategic vision serves all states and nations; in three ways: 1. The Tripple Bottom Line.
