- THE PITCH
-
FSU students use a LOT of paper, from school work to extracurricular, printing flyers, & more. Where does this paper go when it’s no longer needed? In the trash!
This is bad for everyone because it allows for waste to build up and each FSU residence hall requires more trash maintenance to keep up. Students have to spend more money on paper when all they need is scratch paper. The environment loses because countless trees are being cut down to feed our need for paper.
If we get Garnet and Gold Goes Green to provide paper recycling bins at dorms, we will ALL begin recycling & reusing our used paper at residence halls. When the bins get too full, we’ll take turns taking the paper to a nearby recycling facility. This will cut waste, save money, help the environment, and contribute to producing reusable paper for all to enjoy! Let’s reduce, reuse, recycle all our old paper to clean this planet up!
