chilli chilleye replied on Mar 28, 2008Great to see you join the Campiagn Amy D!! here’s my latest suggestions that i posted on Crackersoul.com Sound Off, they are basically the same ideas i listed in my reply to David except we have bands lined up before and skip the open mic idea:
“i think it would be a great opportunity for some friendly fun good times and good to support the "little guy” – it is so tough to get original music out there, especially for an audience that cares about music – and we know the Cracker Crumbs care about music – i think it can be done without imposing on the Headliners or the fans that pay good money for good music – keep it early and short – maybe saturday and sunday 1:00 to 3:00? three bands each day, 1/2 hour sets, will give us some time to change out acts – maybe keep it to acoustic acts of solo to quartet size, so we don’t need extensive sound checks or set up – i think demos submitted before hand for some quality control would help out -"
David suggested earlier in the Campaign that we start at 12:30 on saturday and call it the “walk of shame” – very funny
