I would like fans of cracker/camper that play music to each play a short set at the campout during the afternoons. What better way to spend 3 days in the desert is there? It will also cut costs for the event planners because the musicians are already there and we can all support our friends. Please let your thoughts be known and support my campaign, I’ll even shed a tear if it helps!
pleeeeeze! no stairway to heaven or sweet home alabama.

I truely hope all of the crumbs that are playing get recorded…..hear that Morst?
Maybe a ‘drunk dial’ from Kev would be sweeeet !!

- this will be my 1st campout .. im sooo excited .
Hugs 2 all- BA
Time slots would be nice, but what ever works. I will be there for sure if this passes…
jan – thank you for keeping this rolling – 60% is pretty sweet – congrats!!
sounds like we have four bands already to go, Labrador Dali, Alguno Chalado, DayDrug and the Radials.
David suggested holding the event Saturday at 12:30. i think it would be a good idea to follow the sugestion. four bands at 1/2 hour set each is 2 hours, plus some change out time, is about 2 1/2 hours. we would end at 2pm and clear the way for the big guns.
thanks to Cracker and Camper for the consideration.
peace,

maybe we could intersperse the bands with open mic slots, a few folks could have 3 or 4 tunes while the bands broke down/set up…?
Okay, Im tagging along this time!
Great to see you join the Campiagn Amy D!! here’s my latest suggestions that i posted on Crackersoul.com Sound Off, they are basically the same ideas i listed in my reply to David except we have bands lined up before and skip the open mic idea:
“i think it would be a great opportunity for some friendly fun good times and good to support the "little guy” – it is so tough to get original music out there, especially for an audience that cares about music – and we know the Cracker Crumbs care about music – i think it can be done without imposing on the Headliners or the fans that pay good money for good music – keep it early and short – maybe saturday and sunday 1:00 to 3:00? three bands each day, 1/2 hour sets, will give us some time to change out acts – maybe keep it to acoustic acts of solo to quartet size, so we don’t need extensive sound checks or set up – i think demos submitted before hand for some quality control would help out -"
David suggested earlier in the Campaign that we start at 12:30 on saturday and call it the “walk of shame” – very funny
