You’d think we were more civilized. But you look at so much stuff that we as humans do and we really aren’t as civilized as we want to believe. Honestly I can only look on sites like this a little bit a day because I start to resent humans and wish I wasn’t one sometimes. Between rodeos, bullfights, dog fights, whaling, clubbing baby seals to death, animal testing and all the thousands of ways humans abuse defenseless animals I really don’t have much faith anymore. What are these people thinking? Thats really all I can say right now. What can we do to stop it?

God, I agree. I can’t believe that people are so naïve that they don’t spend time fighting for animal rights. Do they not understand how horrible these things are?

Well the most common response I get when I talk about it is…god they are just animals, people are more important. I dont think people grasp the very simple concept that pain is pain. Animals are defenseless—people arent. People have the ability to stick up for themselves…animals are just innocent bystanders that get caught up in the mix of human ignorance and selfishness.
