Click above to buy $30 Miller Lite Party Deck tickets to see the Fire vs Real Salt Lake on Saturday, 8/19/09, at 7:30 p.m. For additional dates and seating options, click on the links below.

Today's Groupon gets you one ticket to the Miller Lite Party Deck at a Chicago Fire game and a Chicago Fire t-shirt likely made of either 100% cotton, a cotton-poly blend, or possibly lycra. Or you can get a Groupon for a FieldSide 'On the Pitch' ticket and get up close to the action. Come out to TOYOTA PARK to watch the Fire ignite opponents in an effort to keep the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

Expect an inferno of fútbol at any of these matches. The August 5 game at 7 p.m. will be a particularly competitive match-up as the Fire hope to engulf the Tigres in flames of victory in the SuperLiga Final. The competition will also be stiff on August 19 when the Fire play the LA Galaxy, led by Bend It Like Beckham screenwriter David Beckham; fans watching the match on ESPN2 will be overcome with jealousy, wishing they could experience the scalding action in person. On the August 29, the Fire will fight to defend their #1 spot against DC United, the second place Eastern Conference rival that's currently nipping at the Fire's blazing hot heels.

Choose to sit on the Miller Lite Party Deck (and get a free classic Chicago Fire t-shirt) or down on the pitch with stellar FieldSide 'On The Pitch' seats. Both tickets offer unique game experiences at the TOYOTA PARK. The Miller Lite Party Deck gets you seats behind the goal (in sections 135–139) and gives you access to a buzzing party deck (hence the name). These seats are so much fun, you must be 21 or older to get them. Free concessions like hotdogs, pretzels, popcorn, and four 16-oz. Miller Lites are yours to scarf down starting 90 minutes before kick-off. Snag the free food and drinks until the 20th minute of play. After that, you can still purchase any or all of the concessions if you haven't had your fill.

If you go for the FieldSide 'On The Pitch' seats, you're in for a high-roller experience. You'll sit on the pitch right next to the visiting team's bench—so you'll be super close to the action. The package comes complete with VIP treatment for the day. Park your car in your complimentary reserved spot in the players' parking lot (for every two seats purchased) just 200 yards from your seat. Enter the stadium through the private FieldSide entrance and read up on the game notes that will be waiting on your seat when you arrive. Sit back and enjoy in-seat food and beverage service from the moment the gates open until the end of the match and have access to the Stadium Club.

Click on the above links to buy tickets to five different matches (make sure you're on the right page when you hit Buy so you're getting the seating and date you want). The links below offer more information about the visiting team for each game:

  • Saturday, August 1, 7:30 p.m. vs. Real Salt Lake
  • Wednesday, August 5, 7 p.m. vs. Tigres (SuperLiga Final Match)
  • Wednesday, August 19, 8 p.m. vs. Los Angeles Galaxy (David Beckham will be starring in this ESPN2-aired match that features David Beckham)
  • Saturday, August 29, 7:30 p.m. vs. DC United
  • Saturday, September 26, 7:30 p.m. vs. Toronto FC

Don’t miss out on this awesome Groupon. Get your fix of soccer, free food, beer, and a t-shirt (for Party Deckers), all in one perfect, highly flammable package.

Reviews

Yelpers give the team a whopping 4.5 stars. Here’s why they love them:

  • “If you can manage to be bored at a Fire game, there just might be something wrong with you. The great thing about soccer is that the action is continuous and fast and there's always something going on.” – Jenny A.
  • “Fire games are so fun to go to! I have season tickets in the crazy fan section, and I have a blast! I like to take food and tailgate in the parking lot before the game!” – Anne S.
  • “The only thing better than going to a Fire match is taking someone else to there [sic] first Fire match.” – Ted o.

Historical Significance of the Chicago Fire

The Chicago Fire take their name from the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, but the two have more than a name in common. Both grew quickly: the soccer team in popularity, the disaster in number of square miles devastated. Both are greatly influenced by wind. Both started due to a woman and her cow. And much in the same way the Great Chicago Fire decimated the city’s architecture, the Chicago Fire burn their opponents and leave them on the field in a pile of emotional ashes. Don't miss seeing Chicago’s most popular soccer team, which was named after Chicago’s most popular disaster.

I love Groupon, and this isn’t a bad deal, but you should know what you’re getting: they start closing concessions basically as soon as the game starts. Then you’ve got limited concessions (for food it’s basically just hot dogs and pretzels) and it’s more expensive than it is in the regular seating areas. That’s right—in the “Party Deck” you have to pay MORE for beer. Weak. Oh, and the tickets are right behind the goal, and level with the field, so you can rarely see what’s actually going on. So if you do this, get there way early to take advantage of the deck, and hope to be so drunk that you won’t care about being able to see the game or buy more beer without breaking the bank.

    Hi guys,

This is Shawn (from Groupon). In regards to Baylee’s concerns about the Miller Lite Party Deck, this section opens 90 minutes prior to kick off and includes concessions up until the 20th minute into the game. As Baylee mentioned, it’s good to get there early so that you can maximize your experience and get the most bang for your buck.

Also, tickets are located in sections 135 – 139 which are directly behind the South goal. Click here to see a map of TOYOTA PARK. These seats are very close to the action and offer you a unique viewing experience; however, the downside is that the game can be difficult to see at times when the play is on the opposite side of the field.

    Enjoy!

I have done this deal twice and bought tickets to a third game on the last deal. For the money its a good deal (4-beers, and all you can eat nacho’s, pretzels, peanuts, hot dogs, etc.) Granted the tickets are in the south goal, but its no different than my season tickets for the Bears in the North end zone. Yes concessions end in the 20th minute, but if you show up early you can get more than your moneys worth! The four beers alone almost cover the ticket price whether your at Toyota Park, Wrigley, The Cell, or Solder Field! The only one issue about these seats is the giant video screen is right above you so you can not see any replays, but you are within feet of the field so that offsets the lack of video replay!

I have a question about parking with this ticket. It says to go to the parking lot S1, but it doesn’t say if we have to pay for parking or if it’s included in the price. I’m hoping for an answer really quick since the game is tonight. Thanks for any help!

  • Adriana Caballero

I assumed parking was included…is that what happens when you assume?
