Plant More Trees in Chicago's Neighborhoods

As the City of Chicago recently announced a moratorium on all new tree plantings for 2011 city-wide, regular folks like us need to step up to keep Chicago green and beautiful.

We would like to raise enough money to plant 25-trees on one of the City Colleges of Chicago campuses this Fall. If we do, we will organize volunteers from around the city to come together to help plant the trees as part of our Tree Partnership Program, fueled and funded by individuals like you.

Trees play a critical role in reducing urban temperatures, improving our city’s air quality, preventing flooding, providing critical habitat for wildlife, and reducing energy costs (and emissions) from nearby buildings. They also enhance the community’s appearance, muffle urban street noise and increase psychological well-being for students.
