Going Green Film Festival

The GOING GREEN FILM FEST is a first-of-its-kind fest promoting environmental awareness & best practices for green production films, films about the environment, or films featuring alternative transportation.

We launched our 1st fest in 2010. *See photos from fest, along with journal: FEST PHOTOS.

We honored 3 TV shows for their green productions: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, 24, and The Good Wife.

2010 films included docs on the Exxon Valdez spill, the poisoning of babies with over-the-counter products, electric car races and more.

In 2011, we want the fest to be FREE to the public. However, there are expenses. We want to raise $20,000 to pay for the festival up front, so that the public can watch 2011 films for free. (We already have in-kind support).

The festival is a fundraiser for a charity (www.theBroadcaster.com).
