THE PITCH

The community of Hemingway and Wright has given birth to a highly rated 2011 boys soccer team that is presently 15-3-1. The time has come for us to cheer on our own.

The Huskies (hopefully) will play their second state tournament playoff game on Friday, October 21st at 6:00pm at Downers Grove South High School. Of course, they first need to win their first playoff game; however, if the team does its part and survives to the second round playoff game at Downers South HS then each of us agree to make the 30 minute trek to Downers South to cheer them on.

However, if less than 250 fans step forward we can still choose to attend the game (or we can stay home) – otherwise rain or shine we agree to be there with our blankets and our voices!

And to stay warm and be strong we will sit together in the same section.
