Orphan girls from Eastern Europe who aren’t adopted by age 16 face a desperate plight. Many become prostitutes, because there is no other future for them. They are at risk for drug addiction, alcoholism and suicide. At best, they must go through life never having known the love and support of a family.
We want to help by adopting a twelve year old Latvian girl named Sintija.
Sintija is described as being shy and polite. She has lots of friends and is easy to get along with. She likes to skateboard and dance, and she isn’t a picky eater! Sometimes she pretends that she has a family.
We have raised $10,00.00 of the $30,000.00 that we need to complete Sintija’s adoption. If we can raise $10,000.00 more, we are confident that we can get an interest-free adoption loan for the rest.
Once we reach our goal of $10,000.00, the money will be sent to the Home for Good Foundation in Oregon, which is accepting donations on our behalf.
