On Sundays, I make a pot of sauce. I use my Grandma’s “secret” recipe and 7 CANS of tomatoes in EVERY pot. I am “only one” consumer and that is “only one” recipe in which I use tomatoes. Let’s see…

SO, since the summer is here, and fresh tomatoes are abundant and cheap, I AM SWITCHING AS I CAN NO LONGER CONSCIOUSLY CONTINUE TO “CONSUME” YOUR PRODUCTS PACKAGED IN BPA CONTAINERS. By the end of the season I will find an REPLACEMENT to YOUR BRAND UNLESS and UNTIL YOU CHANGE YOUR PACKAGING!!!!!!!

My family only eats organic and to find out that they are putting our organic food in chemicals is very disturbing. I thought they were suppose to be setting the example for healthy eating. I did call Muir Glen and I am returning all my canned soup, tomatoe, and sauce labels for full refund. I encourage everyone to do the same. All you do is ask them to buy them back and you take labels off and send in with amount you spent on each item(no receipt required). You do not send back product just label at their cost and they will refund you your money. If everyone did this I think they would have to go BPA free! What a statement we are making. I am still in shock that organic food is packaged in chemicals!!! Outraged is a better word.

Muir Glen, this is karmic. Something like this usually backfires. Think about your family and your generations to come. You wouldn’t want your own family to consume such chemicals because of someone else’s disregard for humanity. Please put yourself in our shoes and make the change. You’ll be a better human being for it. You can also look at it as being one of the few pioneers in setting a good example for other companies to eliminate BPA as well as other toxins from their materials.
