The Southside Technology Cooperative is building a wireless network in Chicago’s Bronzeville community that will offer free and low-cost wi-fi. The plan is to create 100 wireless access points and provide high-speed wireless access to local residents. We’re raising $20,000.00 to purchase the equipment to set up 10 wireless access points as a starting point.
