OBJECTIVE
Ted Thompson must return Favre as the starting QB for the Packers
TERMS

If we reach exactly 5,000 people, then we will mail him 10,000 pieces of American Cheese singles

THE PITCH

Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He is a legend and he should be the Packers quarterback for the 2008 NFL Season. As long as Favre gives Green Bay the better chance to win this year he should be the QB…and I’ll take the all-time leader in touchdowns over an unproven rookie any day. Last year we were one win away from the Super Bowl….we won’t make it there with a rookie but we could in 08 with Favre.

Ted Thompson will hear from us if Brett isn’t the starting quarterback. If 5,000 people join in support of Favre, we will send 2 pieces of American Cheese to Ted Thompson. 2 American singles should fit conveniently into a normal envelop. We will send the cheese after the campaign tips if Ted Thompson has not already made a decision.

Send the Cheese to:

Ted Thompson

I don’t know who else I could write to about this but I went to that game last night. My name is Caitlin I live in Colorado Springs and I’m 16. I attended the game with my mom and two brothers to support the packers. Well after the game we went down where the teams come out, to try and get autographs. Most of the players were friendly and nice like Donald Driver but one I was disappointed in was Aaron Rodgers. He is NO BRETT FAVRE and that’s for damn sure. He was so rude and stupid last night I wanted to hit him in his face he has a lot to prove and big shoes to feel but it’s simple because no matter how hard he tries he’s nothing. I mean if you had a little kid standing like 2 feet away from you wanting you to just sign a football would you seriously turn away. Brett Favre wouldn’t of done that…you know they won the game and the people standing out there waiting to see them are fans and we go and support them 100% but honestly I hate Aaron Rodgers and I want Brett back.

Thompson needs to be the one who goes. The shareholders of this team must be heard. Bring Favre back – let Thompson go!

I can’t even imagine watching someone else lead the pack on the field.

    Hi MaryLouise,

I don’t know if I’m doing this correctly. Are you Kathy’s sis? I remember that she told me her sister lived up in Cheeseland somewhere and I remembered the name Manny – believe it or not, it’s my brother’s name. We laughed about the Manny Gorman thing. Was just surfin’ the web about Brett and found the site. It’s a small world…

Thanks to everyone who joined this campaign. Its pretty great that we had 88 people and 172 American cheese singles lined up for postage, but sadly, we never got our chance to make our voices heard by mailing 10,000 American cheese singles to Ted Thompson.

Brett has been traded to the NY Jets, which is simply wrong wrong wrong. Its like a hot dog in a hamburger bun.

Goodbye Brett.

Hello Favre supporters,

Its pretty great that we’ve already got 66 members as of today for this campaign.

However…the Favre situation could coming to a head this week. It still seems like anything could happen, and now NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is monitoring the situation. It seems like the likely outcome may be the Goodell will encourage the Packers to trade Favre. That’s not what we want! Seeing Favre in non-Packers uniform just won’t be right.

I still think we can get this to tip. If everyone who is a member can email this campaign to 5 of your friends today, that could really help this thing spread to the next level. 10,000 symbolic American cheese singles in our envelopes may be on their way to Ted Thompson soon if we can just push this a little bit.

Also, if anyone wants to help get the word out even more, here’s a link on how you can help:

Thanks for everyone’s help. #4 lives!

Aaron

TT and Mike if farve does not win this compition you are doing something sneaky even ESPN said that Aaron Rodgers looked like crap last night. To think he will win this job is a joke. I better see Favre as our #1 QB or trade him to my dads team the bears where he will be more welcomed and respected.

Hello Favre supporters,

Thanks for joining this campaign….we’re growing fast but we’ve got a ways to go to get to 5,000.

If everyone could help by voting this campaign up on Digg, we could get a lot more people to join. Just go here & say you Digg the link

http://digg.com/football/Cheese_Bomb_Ted_Thompson_with_10_000_Craft_Singles_for_Favre

If you don’t have a Digg account you’ll need to create one to vote it up, but its real easy. Digg is the most viewed social media news site so we could get a lot of traction from this. Let’s get Favre back on the field for 08!. Thanks…

Ted Thompson should be punched in the face everyday when he wakes up and then again at night as soon as he closes his eyes. That CEO Murphy is a punk too.
Holding up my middle finger, “You’re #1 Ted!”
