Wonderful news!
The campaign "Bring Axure to the Mac!" tipped! announced about 1 year ago

Axure is one of the most valuable pieces of software that I use. The one big problem – as a Mac user, I have to boot up VMWare every time I want to use it.
Axure has said that they’re open to the idea of building a Mac version, so let’s show them exactly how great the demand is! If you would buy a Mac version of Axure, join this campaign.

I will definitely buy the Mac version when it comes out for all Mac users who do wireframes in our org.
Not sure if comments make sense since this point since it has been flagged as tipped, but I will go ahead anyway.
I realize the developers are working hard at this and the last thing they want to hear is something like: “will it also do this?”
Our office uses Windows, Mac and Ununtu desktop. Developers mainly use Ubunutiu. Graphics designers and some project managers use the Mac. Other managemen staff mainly use Windows.
So since you are developing Axure for the Mac, are you trying to find a way to run you .net app on the Mac or are you doing a full rewrite? If it is a rewrite, then will it be in X or Java swing?
What I am getting at is that if it is in X or Java, then the opportunity to get it working on Linux (Ubuntu in our case) could be a reality in the future also right?
We have managed to get all of our development tools working on all the platforms and have migrated from anything that is windows specific.
For example, we have moved to Aqua data studio to replace windows only version of DBArtizan and Erwin.
The only app left for us is Axure. There really is no alternative for us, so VMware / VirtualBox is our only way of using Axure right now. We even tried to get it working on Wine (Crossover) but no luck.
It surely will be very nice to run the app natively on all platforms.
Just checking if Linux will be in the cards at some point and if others feel it will be important.

Our campaign objective (“Axure should release a Mac version”) has been met! That means the campaign is tipped and it’s time to follow through on our pledge: “We will buy the Mac version of Axure when it is released.”

One thing we’d love is a discount/cross grade price for those of us who own the PC version. If that’s something you can promise, I’ll update the campaign to reflect it – I think that will attract even more people.
