messageHI all. I just posted a comment in the discussions forum that Julia or Lily started about their petition/strike/ and their organization SUBAT. I, for one, do not support a sellers run web site as I don’t see it as being viable and feasible. I have spent many hours searching the net looking for SUBAT and OLASU and came up empty handed. The one hit I had led back over to here at the point. I will be boycotting ebaY indefinitely and will not sell there again. I have decided on two different venues to run my items on and will be listing soon. When I think of the money, the logistics and the planning of a sellers only supported website, the details boggle my mind. Most businesses are not run as a democracy. Sometimes the adage of “If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is” still rings true today. I suggest that Lily and Julia get their petition/plan/agenda online in another place then on this petition. I have not been impressed with their ideas but do appreciate their zeal. I agree with Meredith, altho the SUBAT is interesting and appreciate the major effort and wish them well, it is not a viable or searchable alternative for sellers or buyers at this time, but worth keeping an eye out for. I can’t find it in any search, so i doubt a buyer could. Long detailed posts on any comment list tend to be ignored, most people just don’t have the time to read them all through, and so if you want to make a point, best to keep it concise and informative.

I posted a new thread here and should be read. I did not add to the new thread as I forgot to do so, webay is already taken and does not appear to be functioning for anything other than a searchable site for other listings. The site is not for sale at this time as best as I can tell, so this webay idea can come to a rest as the name is already taken and not available to the so called subat union.
